SEPESI, INC. ANNOUNCES RELEASE 2.1 OF SHIPS™ 
EXPORT-IMPORT MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

Rhinebeck, NY, November 1, 2000—Sepesi, Inc. announced the release of the newest version of their SHIPS™ Export Management System.  In 1998 Sepesi, Inc. released SHIPS™ version 1.0.  It was the first Export Management System to integrate seamlessly with MFG/PRO.  This was convenient for MFG/PRO users because of its familiarity and its ease of installation.  There is no extra time needed to create an interface that is needed for most programs in order to work.

With the latest release of SHIPS™ Sepesi, Inc. has added some fields to make the software both more user friendly and more accurate with specific functions.  There has been a new field added to determine what type of drawback can be claimed for a particular export (direct, substitution, rejected, destroyed, unused).  This particular function works in conjunction with the SHIPS™ Import Module.

The following are new features in version 2.1:

• Added a new field to Export Control File Maintenance—SHIPS Data Download Directory.  This is Directory information that populates the download directory fields on all SHIPS download programs.
• Added a new field to Export Control File Maintenance—Copy Item Master Weights.  If the answer is “yes”, it will copy the gross weight, net weight, UM weight, UM size, and size from item master.
• Added a new field to Export Maintenance—Enduser.  Enduser from Sales Order.  It will perform a denied party search on Enduser information.
• Added a new field to Export Maintenance—DBK (Drawback Type Code).  Indicates what type of drawback can be claimed for this export (direct, substitution, rejected, destroyed, unused).
• Modified field name in Export Routing Maintenance.  The field name was “Instruct”, it is now changed to “No Deliv”.
• Added a new field to Export Routing Maintenance—Spread Discount Across Lines.  If the answer is “no” the Sales Order discounts will be displayed as a trailer on the export.  If the answer is “yes” the Sales Order discounts will be spread across line items on the export.  This is used on both the Invoice and the Canadian Invoice.
• Added field names to Address Review and Address Review and Clear.
• Added a new field in Create Export from Sales Order—from: to: date range.  You can now create an export for sales orders to the same destination across a range of dates.

SHIPS is designed to make the export process simpler without having to hire an outside party.  These upgrades have given even more capabilities to an already capable Export Management System.
